Would he have made an excellent Superman?

I have seen Passengers four times and everytime I look at Chris in the scene where Aurora interviews him, the look on his face, his eyes and his voice makes me wonder would he have been the perfect Superman.

Nothing against Henry Cavill, he is hot, tall, buffed and yes I liked his emotional performances as Superman but I wondered if I wanted to make a tv series of Superman based on the Christopher Reeve film, Chris Pratt would be it for me.

Aside from being a kappa male without a scintilla of masculinity, and a body that looks like a sack of peanuts, he’d be a PERFECT Superman—if you wanted a whiny and snarky Man of Steel who got beaten up by James McCavoy in Wanted.

No. Pratt has an "everyman" quality, and that is the single last thing you want in a Superman actor.
