I have to disagree.
She is (and looks) to old to play Katniss. Also her acting really isn't up to it in my opinion, and although it's only a character so it's subjective, Anna simply isn't pretty enough.
Obviously, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but that's my opinion anyway, and she looks to British (and is british) and Katniss needs to be played by an American.

Chances are it will be an American, and an American cast, so an english rose doesnt fit the kick ass American kinda girl that Katniss is.
I'm pretty sure it does, but even if it doesnt i imagined her pretty, and that's why i personally don't thin kthat she is pretty enough. Also, Katniss doesnt have a fivehead.

And no it isn't, or maybe it is, i wouldn't really know, im not American. But in America, or Hollywood at least good looks sell.
And i always thought of her as pretty, which is not a stereotypical Amercian view as i am not American as i said. But simply just my view from what i read, or perhaps i just imagine everyone as pretty, who knows.
Anyway, i don't view Anna as pretty enough. Or young enough. Therefore = not perfect in my humble opinion.

So for the record, while you think she looks like a cross between Amanda Bynes and Sarah Hagan...i do not. I think her looks fall into a category of 'English Rose'. And i personally think that Katniss Everdeen should be American, for no reason in particular.

I'm not quite sure what gave you the impression i did think that, or that i lived in some sort of bubble, but just to rectify such impressions, i do not live in a bubble. I'm also fully aware that the world is a 'complex place' as you like to call it. Although the irony is rather amusing, surely such a complex place is likely to house those that do not think Anna looks like a cross between Amanda Bynes and Sarah Hagan, so it really doesn't matter if they are Amercian or not. She can still, in my opinion look too british.
