Probably never do it though, too mainstream. Watching him as Mason Verger in Hannibal, he would be amazing as The Joker

I was literally thinking that very thought as I was looking at his profile.
I'm not gonna lie I like that Leto is going to be the next Joker. I think Pit would be more capable of creating the "WooOOooWWW" factor Ledger did though.
I thought that exact same thing, especially in episode 12 of Season 2 (Michael Pitt's last appearance on Hannibal). The other day I was reading up on some trivia on the show and I saw that Bryan Fuller called this version of Mason to be the Joker to Hannibal's Batman. Which I can see being fleshed out even more if they get to the storyline from the "Hannibal" novel (with Mason coming back for revenge). But when I read what Fuller said I immediately thought about how much Michael Pitt reminded me of the joker in his voice and mannerisms in this show.
