He is one of, if not the most underrated male actor I have ever seen.
Not many people know of him. Or speak highly of him. Yet anything he's in, he blows my effing mind.

First saw Micheal in The Dreamers. Did a great job. Expected to see his career keep growing but seemingly not. I'm just watching him in Law & Order S.V.U, again giving a good show. Don't understand why he's not up there with the biggies?

Nah, he's the run-of-the-mill pretty-manboy always cast as the tragic type because he's so "innocent" yet corrupt inside. Turns out that the life imitates art as the actor has had a bout with drug addiction and physical violence with other actors.
I always like these young troubled actors. But they always end up taking the Eddie Furlong path. They give nice edgy performances but crash and burn quickly.
