So strange..

Why are all (almost all) the men on this page so upset about Ellen, turning into Elliot? Did it make you think you’re now gay so you’re upset? There has to be some sort of reasoning similar to that. Why would you even care? Nothing he/she does is going to affect the outcome of your life. Just be happy that they are now happy.

reply

THEY WERE SEXUALLY ATTRACTED TO HER...IN THEIR TINY BRAINS THAT EQUATES TO PARTIAL OWNERSHIP...SAME REASON THEY COMPLAIN WHEN A CELEBRITY GETS OLDER ON THEM.

reply

It has nothing to do with ownership. It has to do with them being attracted to her before transition, and now having to prove they're not gay because people are claiming she's a real man.

reply

NO...IT'S WHAT I SAID...PEOPLE TEND TO FEEL LIKE THEY POSSESS THINGS THEY LIKE OR ENJOY.

reply

Do you think they really like or enjoy her?

reply

THEY DID...NOW THEY DON'T...BETRAYAL...ANGER.

reply

Absolutely the best response!!

reply

Already made a topic about this. Many are okay with Page just minding his/her own business, but others are accusing him/her of normalizing and advocating cutting off one's own breasts, among other things we shouldn't be normalizing.

reply

"NORMALIZING"

WHEN ARGUMENTS FAIL...CORRUPT WORDS TO MAKE HALF ASS POINTS.

reply

Sorry, I didn't quite catch your point. Can you describe it in more detail?

reply

But it should be normalized. Breast cancer is a bitch, and not having breasts shouldn't be considered difficult to tradeoff if it means prevention.

reply

Nothing healthy should ever be removed. Especially when motivated by what could be nothing more than intense peer pressure, or a belief in something that probably doesn't exist (brain in wrong body), an existential crisis, and especially a social construct.

reply

It is their body.. they can do what they want.

reply

Well, you asked. And THEIR answer, not mine.

reply

She cut off her boobs. That is a bad thing.

reply

It is her choice though. Has absolutely nothing to do with you.

reply

If you have a young daughter that sees this, becomes impressed and starts thinking that she can and should do the same... Will you be happy that she does it and still think what Ellen Page did is cool?

reply

You raised a daughter to think that a treatment for gender dysphoria is cool. And you blame Elliot Page because of it. It makes sense.

What's next? If your daughter gets into insulin because she thinks it's cool, you blame people with diabetes? Anything but thinking what you did wrong when you raised a daughter that thinks that treatments are cool.

reply

Transgender ideology has no scientific support. It is not based in science.
It is an ideology and social influence is a real reason for the transgender seed to be incepted. This is based on real studies.

On the rest of your comment, you are right - if my daughter grows up thinking about wanting to change "gender", I will have done something wrong. One of those wrong things is letting her grow up thinking mutilating her body and making her a medical patient for life will make her feel better.

reply

Transgender ideology has no scientific support.

There's no such a thing as transgender ideology. No more than cisgender ideology, or heterosexual ideology, or diabetes ideology, or hair loss ideology. Transgender people have different positions, like anybody else. Go figure.

And ideologies have no scientific support. That's why they're called ideologies. There's something weird with transphobes and their obsession with words like Science or Biology. Quoting a famous swordsman: they keep using that word. I do not think it means what they think it means.

you are right - if my daughter grows up thinking about wanting to change "gender", I will have done something wrong

Except I added "because she thinks it's cool". You can't tell apart between actual gender dysphoria and some eventual trans trend.

And that's what ultimately boosts that trend. People like you are so busy teaching their kids that gender dysphoria is just some psychological fancy that when they grow and have some psychological fancy, they call it dysphoria and think they're trans. Quite the irony.

reply

What do you mean "there's no such thing"? Aren't there transgender people, who change "gender" according to what their mind decides? This is an ideology, obviously.

Diabetes? Hair loss?
How can this be comparable? Those are scientific things, that can be scientifically proven...
On the gender thing, as many transgender people claim, "only a woman knows what a woman is" (lol)

You are comparing things that have no comparison. You are comparing science with personal belief/creed.
These are facts, sorry.

reply

Aren't there transgender people, who change "gender" according to what their mind decides? This is an ideology, obviously.

You're like those woke trans for who everything is a gender. In your case, everything is an ideology 😂

How can this be comparable? Those are scientific things, that can be scientifically proven. You are comparing science with personal belief/creed.

Three "science" in a row. Congrats! 😂.

reply

Congrats for the lack of arguments, I guess we know what that means.

reply

There was nothing to argue. You literally said that a medical treatment is an ideology, and then you said "science" several times in a row, because if you can't tell apart between chemotherapy and anarcho-liberalism, saying "science!!" sure fixes it 🤣

reply

Removing your boobs is as much a "medical treatment" in this case as adding silicon to them...

But you are right, it is a in a way a "treatment" to a mental disorder (not officially called this anymore because people were getting depressed and ostracized - but it still is in practical terms).

Once again you are placing scientifically proven methods and diseases (chemotherapy and cancer) next to things that are personal internal beliefs. You are incapable of comparing cells that can be observed in a lab, with an ideology and internal creed that can only be experienced by each individual - and in many many cases such "disease" and "diagnostic" is admitted, by the own individual, to not be real years later.

I understand facts are hard to argue against, but those emojis are just sad if that's what you consider arguments...

reply

Most likely I would tell her to wait until she's at least a legal adult (18) to make a decision like that. I would see if that works first. If she's still insistent, then counseling and therapy and doctor visits and see what they say, I suppose.

reply

Whatever makes her happy. I would want her to live her life that makes her happy.. not weirdo guys on the internet.

reply

Who are these weirdo guys on the internet? Is someone talking directly to her to tell her what to do?
In this thread I'm seeing people discussing this, normally.

If you have a daughter I also hope she is happy. I also hope you have the means and strength to support years of medical treatment, and hope that the treatment is really needed and that she doesn't regret it 10 years later, like it happens in many cases - because it will be impossible to revert them.
Because nothing is sadder than doctors and clinics that convince depressed kids to do treatments regardless of real need of them.

reply

LMAO...NOTHING "NORMAL" ABOUT YOU OR THE OTHERS OR YOUR DISCUSSIONS.

reply

We can see by your writing your brain is not the best one around, sorry.

reply

MMM HMM...MY WRITING...NOT THE BEST....OK.

reply

Left Kow alone, can't you see he's grumpy because he's having his male period?

reply

Oh cool! Self mutilation is ok now!!

reply

Ummm yes. The Kardashians push it all the time.

Unless of course you are only fine with surgery if it makes the person more attractive to you?

reply

That *was* the point of cosmetic surgery. People want to look better, not worse, ironically enough.

That said, I wouldn’t use the Kardashians as a defensive argument.

reply

My point is that to Elliot, he looks better now. So that was the point. Just because you, or 123Guy thinks he looks worse, that's your opinion.

I only used the Kardashians because they have the platform, and although I don't follow anything about them, I think I saw some people upset about a month ago because Kim did an interview and was suggesting different procedures that the interviewer could get done to look better.

I ask, who has more of an influence in younger people? The Kardashians who have made an empire for being famous, or a transman who mostly keeps to themselves?

reply

i was gonna go all text book on you about how mutilation is the destructive opposite of rebuilding something better, but I do understand what you are going for here. :)
im thinking of starting another controversial thread about where makeup and looks are going for women now.... could be interesting

reply

im thinking of starting another controversial thread about where makeup and looks are going for women now.... could be interesting

Yeah, maybe don't do that. We don't need men discussing make up and looks in women thanks.

reply

if you can explain the purpose of make up has nothing to do with mate selection, in less than 5 sentences, I won't make that discussion.

Why ARE women inflating their lips to 50 psi, doubling their eye lash lengths, and getting ass implants. they want to "look good" only for themselves, right?

reply

Go ahead, make that discussion. There aren't enough women here to have a voice anyway. It will just be a bunch of men posturing about how they do, or don't like make up on a woman. How big they do or don't like her breasts or ass.

If I want to read what men think about the way a woman looks, I just have to go to any actresses page and I will read all about it as really, that's all that's discussed.

Also, the fact that you've already said that you want to make a controversial post about it tells me that it will be filled with misogynistic hatred, so yeah. Pull out your moviebuff224 personality and give it a go.

reply

Oh look you avoided his question and acted like a snarky cunt, how original!

reply

lighten up, Francis

reply

Yeah maybe it's got absolutely nothing to do with you whether men discuss makeup and looks in women. Stay in your lane.

reply

What is my lane?

reply

Not trying to tell people what they can discuss. There's your lane right there. Stay the fuck in it.

reply

Hahahaha. I wanted to see who I was dealing with and this is the shit you post on here???

[–] Miyagido (775) 2 hours ago
Wanna know how I know you're a little tween fag? Because only little tween fags think virgin/incel/etc is an effective insult. But look at how much you seethe when I call you out for the faggot you are kek

Yeah, you can just stay in your lane, and not ever talk to me again.

reply

LMFAO do you think I am ashamed of that post if I posted it on a public forum? Wanted to see who you were dealing with? Yes because that's what you weaklings do, you don't engage with the substance of the posts to you, you immediately try to look through post history for any reason not to engage. It's pathetic and ftr I'll comment on whatever the fuck I want to. You are free to ignore. Welcome to free speech faggot

reply

DON'T BE A DICK...WHAT PEOPLE CAN DISCUSS AND WHAT THE SHOULD DISCUSS ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS...EVOLVED BEINGS KNOW THE DIFFERENCE...AND MANNERS TO BOOT.

reply

So you are basically admitting that trans related surgeries are basically cosmetics and should have no real association with "medical treatments"?

reply

Nope.

reply

Of course it is her choice to cut off a major part of her body. And we should treat it as an illness as a society. not celebrate the mutilation.good for you

reply

For her ardent male fans, it's The Crying Game all over again.

reply

Well, honestly, she hit the wall long ago, so we didn't really lose anything when she went to great lengths to pretend to be a man to stay relevant.

But no, it was never about fearing that you might be gay or feeling insecure about your sexuality, that’s silly. It’s just a shame when a formerly attractive and talented actress would mess herself up for reasons.

reply

I can't say I'm upset with her. I mean, it's a free country, do what you want to do. I just know that I will now have a hard time watching "Ellen Page" movies and thinking she is not really Ellen Page anymore. It's just kind of odd. Sure, it won't effect my life but now that it's public knowledge, people will comment on it.

That being said, I think it's genuinely hard to grasp that someone can actually change their gender. I wish "him" luck but someone that does this will never experience what it's "really" like to be the opposite sex. Seriously, it's nothing more than an advanced form of cross-dressing/gender-bending and then "acting" like the opposite sex.

Not that I really care that much about it, I will admit, some trans-girls are better looking than some real girls. lol...

So, if people want to do this to their body, so be it. But really, you're not the opposite sex no matter how good your doctor is. It's just physically impossible to "transition" into something you can never be. Why bother?? But then again, I don't have gender dysphoria, so I can't tell you what these people are feeling but obviously they feel pretty strong about it, otherwise they wouldn't go through so much trouble.

reply

Some of the men (on this forum) think they own women's bodies; Page did a "bad" thing by changing his without their permission. This offends them.

reply

You nailed it!!!! Exactly this!
