Serious question: Why do you oppose transgender people?

I don't oppose transgender people, I oppose the idea that identifying as something makes you that thing.

I mean, come on! Identifying as rich doesn't put money in my bank account, identifying as hot doesn't make you want to have sex with me, and if I identified as being able to fly and jumped off a tall building, well.

Life your life how you want to life it and be proud of who you are, but don't try to push some ridiculous overriding philosophy on other people because reality isn't quite what you want it to be.

Agree with me or you're against me... Isn't that an extreme position to take? Most people who don't buy the claims of the current gender theory aren't against trans people as people.

I don’t oppose them. I oppose people who try to force their beliefs on others by telling them that if they don’t accept someone is the gender they say they are (when their biology begs to differ) that they are some sort of bigot. Transgender people are people, they can identify as whatever they want that is their right, it is not their right to force everyone else to agree with you on how you identify. If a boy wants to identify as a girl I’ll even call them by the pronoun they want just to be respectful to them, but that person is still a boy IMO.

As for me, I am not 21 years old even though I would like to be, so I am not going to tell people I am 21 years old, I will tell them I am 40 years old because I am.
