I don't understand how he is connected to the Star Wars Ep7 movie.
In the most articles with J.J. there is always the mention of Simon Pegg..

He's a big Star Wars fan, he's starring in Star Trek directed by JJA, who is now lined up to direct SW Ep7

But i don't think it's a good idea.. Because he's already in Star Trek.
And Star Trek and Star Wars are not the same.

shareHe isn't connected to it (yet). He is a huge Star Wars fan and has worked with JJ Abrams in the past, so its a natural assumption to think that he might be asked to be in the new film.
Actually, he talked about this in his recent interview in Geek magazine. He noted that he isn't going to be begging Abrams to be in the film and has not been asked as of yet. The way he put it was that he is going to enjoy the film no matter what, and if Abrams wants him in it he is sure Abrams will let him know.
It would be neat if they offered him a role, but as with the original Star Wars I think they need to go with no name actors so we aren't focused on watching the actor, and not the story.
