Geoffrey Palmer has died aged 93. A wonderful character actor with an unforgettable hangdog face, a regular on British TV all my life. R.I.P.

Yes, me too... somewhere in his early eighties I would have assumed. He was one of those actors who always seemed middle aged and never elderly.

Sad, but 93 years is a good run. His role in "As Time Goes By" is my favorite.

ATGB is my favorite as well. It was on PBS yesterday afternoon as usual, and I wish they had put something on the screen to honor him, but they didn't.
