Yep - coincidentally, I just saw her yesterday in Cry of the City from 1948. Both she and actor Tony Cook, both of whom have key supporting roles in the film, are still alive. It always makes me smile when I discover that actors from long-ago movies are still around, more so when there are more than one of them.

I saw her in Fourteen Hours (1951) a few days ago, very pretty.

And she was in this lousy film noir called "Why Must I Die?" (1960). It seems like the only copies available have lousy picture quality, unfortunately.

reply

She's not the best actress. I just watch her because she's so effing hot. She was bad in that movie because she sucked at trying to pull off the bad-girl act.

reply

Indeed.

reply

Yeah, apparently she got completely out of show business and did a bunch of christian religious broadcasting stuff... a big change from some of those dances she was doing in 1950s films!

reply

Yeah, she went from "ho" to "holy" over night.

reply

Interesting way of putting it.

reply

I'm just being stupid. She's my fav, no matter what...…..
