All the Right Wrongs *vs* Fight or Flight

What do you guys think and which album would you chose? I personally like "All the Rights Wrongs" more just because I think the music is more meaningful. I think she is really good with music like this. I do like Fight or Flight but I think some of the songs are really too techno (for my liking) and I think the lyrics could be better on some tracks. I however really like "The Cycle" and "Truth or Dare" from the album. If I had to put together an EP to explain her music it would be like this.

1. What About Me
2. Thinking About You
3. Truth or Dare
4. Unaddicted
5. The Cycle
6. All the Way Up

I'd have to say All the Right Wrongs was better. I loved all the songs from the EP, while Fight or Flight had a few weaker (but still great) titles. I don't mind the electronic sounds of the album. Actually, I enjoyed them. I also loved "Truth or Dare". I'd been waiting for its release since I heard it in concert, although I preferred it with her band's backup vocal. Then again, all her songs are better live. My favourite song of hers, though, would have to be "You are the Only One".

My Top 5:
1. You are the Only One
2. Truth or Dare
3. Lovesick
4. I Hate the Homecoming Queen
5. Average Girl

Why do I need a signature?

I'm disappointed she went from rock to techno, but her voice is stronger and better in the second album, even if the songs aren't what I usually listen to - I hope her third is even better.

I wish Unaddicted had made it to one of the albums - it's a shame because it's a really good song and the lyrics are straight from her heart. You can feel how much it must've tormented her - and probably still does.

Well, that does it. Just had a listen to it, and I think it's at least neck-and-neck (if not slightly overtaking) What About Me? as my fav of hers.

Anyway, representative songs? Hmm...well, I must confess that I'm more of a rock guy than a techno guy. So I guess that's one strike against me already. That being said...

1. All the Way Up (sure, why not? It was the first one released, and the lyrics spoke of individuality, carving her own way in the world. Which seems to me to be indicative of her as an artist.)

2. What About Me? (should be self-explanatory in its listing.)

3. I Hate The Homecoming Queen (maybe has a *touch* of Disney cookie-cutter-ness to it, but it also has a good rock anthem-y feel)

4. Let's be Friends (just to show that she does indeed have a sassy side )

5. Lovesick here, maybe? (Not sure if that would be too much to have two techno pieces side by side...)

6. that Chuck Berry cover she did (Run, Rudolph, Run)...just to show versatility and a nod to her possible influences...

7. Unaddicted (a nice bookend to WAM? Honestly, was completely blown away at her opening vocals)

Yeah. I just think the first album/set of songs (for the few that didn't make the cut but should've) had more meaningful lyrics and her vocals were great. I love the beggining of Unaddicted. Also I love her vocals in What About Me. I just think for the second album she went more techno and it's alittle more edited.
