would not play Blomkvist in a fourth movie

wow this is pretty interesting, his view is a good one:

Given the chance, would Michael Nyqvist star as Stieg Larsson’s crusading journalist Mikael Blomkvist in a fourth movie? A valid question, as it’s not impossible that, cinematically, the bestselling Millennium Trilogy may yet become a tetralogy. After all, Larsson himself had a fourth book in mind: In July, a friend revealed that the author, who died in 2004, had divulged plot details (including a setting of none other than Sachs Harbour in the Northwest Territories).

“That doesn’t excite me at all,” says Nyqvist, who plays Mikael Blomkvist for the third time in The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest. “Stieg was a very serious guy, and I think you have to show respect to that. You can’t just make another movie based on nothing but notes.”

I would love to know what would have happened in the fourth book but he does have a point. It could go really wrong e.g. the Bourne series with that Eric guy taking over from Robert Ludlum after the first three

oh gosh I hope they do not make a fourth one if it's not going to be any good! well if the first remake does not do well then they will not be remaking the second and third ones (Fincher has said)
it would also feel more right if (and if there is a fourth script) it were done in Swedish first, just be more fitting and Nyqvist and Rapace to me will always be Blomkvist and Salander
But that is only if a fourth script happens. At the moment I don't think a fourth book or script is such a good idea at all.
