IMDB will limit viewers generally with this move. On the other hand they want to make the site more professional, but their problem is that for viewers from outside the industry they have nothing special to offer.

I think the first battle I had on this form was with Sammy when Child44 was coming out. For some reason I felt I had to become the devil's advocate and defend Russia's ban of the movie...........lol.. I actually never ended up watching the movie, yet I DID read the entire book. 😝 I wasn't against it though, I just set it to the end of my movie watching queue.

I have to say, Carrot, I will genuinely miss you. I've enjoyed our discussions, with you and many others here. I don't think this is a wise move. The forums here have a different feel than Facebook or YouTube. The powers that be mention other social media, but those sources are mainly used by people to discuss their personal lives, not film.

I would like to give a big thanks to Stilla fir all the information she has given over the years. Bravo!
