Just signed on to direct...


...Lorenzo’s Oil 2. Finally there’s some momentum behind this long-stalled project! Budget details are still speculative, but it looks like they’re getting Nick Nolte AND Susan Sarandon back, which means that Warner Brothers is easily on the hook for $300 million. So yeah, I assume that what little is left over after actors’ salaries are paid will go toward the oil special effects? What do you guys think? Will Lorenzo be an all-digital character?

I heard they're hiring Kevin Costner to be Nick Nolte's voice coach so they can improve the Italian accent

Is that true? Where did you hear that? Costner is a fantastic actor, so I’m sure it’s for the best.
