Your favorite Nolan twist

I don't know why Shamalyan (sp) is well known for having good twist endings when Nolan has done it so much better. Which one is your favorite:

1) It turns out that Lenny killed the guy who raped his wife over a year ago and that he has been searching for new people to kill ever since and that Teddy has been manipulating him
2) It turns out that Sammy Jankis's story is really Lenny's
3) It turns out that Ducard is really Ra's al Ghul
4) It turns out that Angier has been cloning and killing himself every night during his act
5) It turns out that Borden is really a set of twins
6) It turns out that Cobb incepted Mal and that is how he knew Inception was possible
7) It turns out that Miranda Tate is really Talia al Ghul and she is the child who escaped the pit
8) It turns out that Bruce is alive and well
9) It turns out that Dr. Brand lied and that he knew he couldn't get Plan A to work
10) It turns out that Dr. Mann faked his data and that his planet wasn't hospitable to life
11) It turns out that Cooper was really Murph's ghost the whole time and that he was manipulating gravity to talk to her through time.

12) It turns out that Alfred sexually pleasured each and every ballerina on that cruise.

Why don't you give me a call when you're ready to start taking things a little more seriously.

Sure. Where's your card?

While the rest of the movie didn't do much for me I liked number eleven a great deal; one reviewer, years back, observed that it was like something out of "The Twilight Zone," which can never be a bad thing.

You see I loved all of Interstellar and the end twist just blew my mind away. Nolan does what Shamalyan is best known for way better.

Interstellar is actually my second favorite Nolan film behind The Dark Knight Rises.

"Interstellar" could grow on me -- it certainly has plenty to mull over -- but for now I think the smaller-scale world of "Memento" still resonates with me most; it would be cool, actually, if Nolan, with his next work, abandon the epics and go for something more modest, but just as effective, like "Memento" (or "Insomnia" for that matter).

Memento will always be his best, and yes Insomnia is underrated. I was one of the early Nolan adopters and rushed to see both of them in the theater, great experiences.

My favorite twist ending is how he went from an incredible filmmaker to a hackish oaf who made one of the worst big budget movies in existence (Dark Knight Rises) and an impressive yet embarrassingly dumb sci-fi (Interstellar), right after the comparative masterpiece Inception.

The twist was that he wasn't as smart as he was making himself out to be. He got too popular too quickly, in all reality. The Dark Knight was good, but it destroyed him because of the fanbase it invited.

Like you, for example.
