Hey i saw this movie years ago where i think either she or some other actress played a rich daughter and gets married to his young charming man, who turns out to be as a scum as they get. He sells her to slavery to a white man who lust after here and tries to win her but then threatens her. She finds a way with the help of the stable boy to send a letter to her rich father to come and save her and the other slaves.

Can someone confirm if it was actually her or some other actress???

That actress is not Thandie. Her name is Rachael Crawford and she is Canadian. The name of the movie is "The James Mink Story" and it stars Lou Gossett, Jr. as her father.
