Superb actor

Tatsuya Nakadai is one of the greatest living screen actors, always a pleasure to watch. He started out with a big part in Seven Samurai and went on to appear in many of the greatest Japanese films of all time. His greatest personal triumph may be the Human Condition trilogy but my personal favourites are his roles in Kobayashi’s Harakiri and Kurosawa’s High and Low.

A great, great actor, charismatic and magnetic, still working today in his late eighties, mostly in voiceover work.
