Have you all seen Transsiberian? I wanted to punch her in the face after watching that film two nights ago. She was just so annoying in it. All those facial contortions and expressions when she gets back on the train with Sir Ben. I was literally gasping out loud because I couldn't stand it anymore. The film was definitely brought down by her performance because she was such a transparent liar. How can she call herself an actor? My friend walked in during one of the first scenes when she gets back with Woody and he could tell she was lying about everything that happened while they were separated. And having seen Harry Brown (which was a good movie, especially since she isn't on screen more than 15 minutes)the prior night, I knew she was British. So knowing she is British may have made it harder to listen to her American accent, but her voice was also terribly annoying to me during some scenes.
After watching that movie I hate her. Some of it may have been the writing, I mean, come on: dramatic music blaring, Sir Ben grilling Mortimer about lying. Mortimer acting suspicious, crying, about to break...Then all of a sudden she says:"No, that's all I know."And she leaves room without protest. Another example: Sir Ben, rifling through Mortimer's camera sees pictures that will prove she is lying, one away from total proof! Then while he looks up at his comrade to speak Mortimer snatches the camera from his hand but nothing else is said about it. Quite stupid and unbelievable, compounded by her irritating facial expressions.
