Worst performances I have ever seen...

And by worst I mean gut wrenching to watch. Annoying voice or accent, stupid facial expressions, a performance that will make you not only hate the character but quite possibly the actors themselves. Here is my short list:

1. Julianne Moore in Freedomland for her terrible NY accent which comes and goes from scene to scene, or line to line sometimes. I can not watch anything else with her in it besides Boogie Nights. I might give The Kids Are All Right a shot, though.
2. Jeremy Davies in Saving Private Ryan as Upham. This has more to do with the writing and character, but I can't separate the two because it is my favorite movie and I can not believe someone would act the way he did. Brave like everyone else by running ammo back and forth, but then sitting and crying as his comrades are killed yards away when he could have saved them, then letting the killer walk right by. I actually yell every time I watch the film.
3. Emily Mortimer for Transsiberian. Would you call it overacting? To me she just looks really stupid with her facial expressions when back on the train with Woody and Ben. Everyone can tell she is lying. One minute she's a nervous wreck, the next she is calm and composed. Ya, ok there.
