Would've made a much better pick for Cherie Currie

I am in no way, shape or form a Momsen fan, trust me, but you have to admit she has the right looks and attitude (and while her style is pretty bad and downright distasteful, she can still pull of the Currie S&M look), totally the opposite of Dakota, who was a rather awkward choice. She can sing much better than Fanning too, who absolutely made me cringe. Not that Taylor is any Ella Fitzgerald, but she can still sing.

Yes, Taylor is actually musically talented as well as acting.

I think Nicholas Sparks is a terrible author

Well, she's still better than Dakota (although she was surprisingly not bad at acting in this, for once), who sings like a little boy trying to sing like a girl. I can think of no better way to describe it.

And looks-wise, she's a dead-ringer for Cherie, as well as Debbie Harry and Courtney Love.
