Katherine would be so perfect as Lisbeth when the english version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is made. As I read the book, she was the one I pictured in the role. As Shane, she captured the bad-ass detached personality of Lisbeth and I would love to see her in the role rather than someone like Scarlett Johannsen who lacks the edge to play the character as written by the author.

shareShe looks a lot younger than she is and the woman who played in the Swedish version is nowhere near 5' so the fans might let it slide. Natalie Portman would be a good fit also but Kate can play that persona better than NP.

shareSo much inaccuracies in that post. Firstly, She's too main stream (Look at the butchered version of the US version of My Sassy Girl for example) and I doubt she could pull off the punk/grunge look of Lisbeth.
Also, Noomi Rapace is very very close to 5 foot I'd say.
And the height/weight is an important part of the character in my opinion.
She's meant to look small and thin, as in, much smaller than the males in the story.
