The scenes of 'London Burning'

In the first episode where they are showing a worldwide pandemonium, they showed the bus burning from the 7/7 attacks on London on that dreadful day under the 'news banner' 'London Burning.'

As much as I love this show I thought that was distasteful. I mean, if Britain showed footage of the 9/11 attacks as part of some sort of fictional pandemic across the world I thonk Americans would be saddened as well.
