I find this funny and weird. A few other message boards keep saying she looks "a lot" like Kate Beckinsale. I find no resemblance at all. Rhona's cheekbones and very square jaw give her away instantly. I find it funny that even a basic Internet search sometimes brings up Kate in the search results! So, if you glanced very quickly at a picture of Kate, would you mistake her for Rhona?

shareYes. In fact, I just did. In the opening scene of the Last Ship I saw her and instantly thought: I didn't know Kate Beckinsale was in this. A few seconds later: is it really her? She looks older. Ah, no, that's not her. - the shape of her lips and jaw is different, but the resemblance is uncanny.
Actually, I'm pretty sure the resemblance was the reason she was picked for the part in the Rise of the Lycans. Her character was supposed to have looked like Selene, played by Beckinsale

shareLast night I saw in TV Doomsday (2008), without knowing the cast, and for a moment I thought she was Kate Beckinsale. I think there is a resemblance between the two. Later, looking more carefully, I realized she is not K.B.
