Elizabetch Mitchell caught on tape trying to act

Seriously, she actually attempted an impression of "crying" in a recent Revolution episode.

It was almost creeping me more out then her usual pouting stare that, void of any human emotion, she can sustain for multiple seasons in a row. Really scary.

What's the matter with you? Are you stupid? Or are you just jealous because she could at least be where she is now with her talent? Man, you haters must get a life or something...

I wouldn't want to be where she is, it's not a work I'd enjoy I think. Plus I make more money in my job than she does. Yeah call me stupid, I don't care. I'm loaded.

All that doesn't change that I came to this part of the IMDB forums to express my opinion that her acting is awfully wooden and I don't understand how major productions can continue to cast her.

You're not expressing your opinion. When one express an opinion, a person must be articulate, one must explain why that person think the way he thinks with the most respect possible. Instead, you opened this post where you not only insulted the actress, you tried (and failed) to be funny. And you wonder why they did cast her? Let's see. She won a Saturn Award and was nominated in 2010 for an Emmy. She starred big movies like Gia, The Santa Clause movies and she got a creepy little role on Running Scared. Not to mention that she was in LOST, where the actors had to ACT and she played her role succesfully. She is acclaimed by critics and the public. And while she's a little underrated, she's really good. You claim that her acting is ''wooden'', but can't you understand that's the way they asked her to portray the character? I think that by ''wooden'' you mean being serious which is not the same. Juliet's feeling are reserved with people until you could crack her open. Ever checked Juliet's flashbacks in Lost, where she had her sorrow exposed at full bloom? You might not like the actress, but that doesn't mean she's bad.

Also, I'm sorry that I called you ''stupid''. But, you got to understand how good this woman is. And think about it, her co-stars like Michael Emerson, Josh Holloway and now Giancarlo Esposito, Billy Burke and David Lyons have nothing but good things to say for her. Hell, even the writers are pleased to work with her!

Still not convinced? Check this scene with the equally great Michael Emerson.

I could think of more, but I'm not gonna feed you up with videos. As a hardcore Lost fan, I must say Elizabeth is my favourite actress and I say you might not like her, but at least have some respect.

Nobody with any substantial amount of money would ever post to this forum. There is millions, get it, of better things to do with that kind of dough!

Elizabeth Mitchell is great, I agree. That being said... how old are you? Twelve? Only 12-year-olds call people "haters," think "get a life" is somehow an effective insult and believe that criticism of an actor equates to jealousy, which it almost never do. Adults don't say such things since they're capable of more complex thinking. Let us know when you finish middle school, kid.

False.

That's just how YOU want them to express it.

A person can express an opinion in any way he or she sees fit.

As long as it conveys their opinion then their opinion was expressed.

I think she's a cringey actress and I can't stand shows she pops up in.

I first saw her in Lost and was very annoyed. She tanked V. Not that it didn't have other problems. But she was the main one.

That's complete *beep* You think just because someone is wealthy they don't have downtime where they browse the web randomly or just argue/comment online because arguing and expressing opinion is actually a part of human nature.

You have that old school 90's view of wealthy people. You see them as a separate species.

I make more in a year than you make in 10, I'm sure. And I still go around on reddit commenting.

Most people don't abide by any "rules". Everyone with access now has a voice. Good luck trying to enforce "your opinion" on how things should work.
