So is "Mary Poppins Returns" his ticket to the EGOT club ?
He has the E(mmy), G(rammy), T(ony) covered so now all he needs is an Oscar and a supporting role in a beloved musical franchise directed by Rob Marshall who had directed 6 (!) Oscar nominated performances in musicals before (Chicago - Zellweger, Zeta-Jones, Latifah, Reilly; Nine - Cruz; Into the Woods - Streep), sure sounds like a likely route to the Oscar stage. Thoughts ?
P.S. I hope the film will turn out to be good so the so far (Oscar-wise) criminally overlooked Emily Blunt could get at least a nomination...preferably her second after this year's "The Girl on the Train".
