Um... clearly you have never heard him actually TALK (read: completely gush in the purest fashion) about his wife.

Seriously, why can some people not grasp the concept that a guy can be straight and not be all hyper-masculine? Yes, he is a straight guy who loves musical theater and fanboys openly over the things he loves and doesn't give a flip if he comes off "flamboyant" or not. Those guys DO exist. Sexuality really has very little to do with your personality, interests, or how "masculine" or "feminine" a person comes across.

Agreeing with you, stephlem89. It didn't occur to me that Lin would be anyone other than who he is. He's not hiding. Now, I can't say he's straight because there could be bi-erasure. He's just comes off as a guy comfortable with himself and what he likes, and he very convincingly loves his wife.

reply

Oh yeah, for the record, I only say he's straight because he's identified himself as such, otherwise I certainly wouldn't assume he couldn't be bi :)

But yes, just to put this here because he and Vanessa are actually the cutest/sweetest couple ever:

...Because if there's one industry where you'd need to hide your sexuality to get ahead in 2010 (year they married), it's the theater industry.

He's not gay. What are you talking about? But oh well I guess an actor hasn't truly made it unless there is an accusation of them being gay. 

You need to stop ignoring your gaydar on this guy.

reply

I don't have one because he's not gay. He's married with a child and he has also had other girlfriends in the past so I don't know where you are getting that he's gay.
