Odd that I really only remember him from his smaller role in 21 Jump Street (In the Custody of a Clown as Brian Sheffield). Also Class of 1999, which I don't think was all that popular.

I know he's done a number of 80's shows, but I don't remember in them.
The Wonder Years, Growing Pains, Family Ties.

Nope, never seen Teen Witch, but for some reason I'm assuming this is his most well known roll.

In the episode of Cagney and Lacey he was in I thought he was a rough-looking lesbian. Wikipedia does say he is gay, just not a lesbian. He is real creepy, though.
