Disappointing as Hannibal

Apparently I'm alone with this opinion lol. I've almost finished watching Hannibal season 1 and so far the writing is excellent and every casting choice in the show is perfect... except for Mikkelsen as Lector. And it's not that his performance is terrible or anything - the guy is a terrific actor in his own right - but because Thomas Harris wrote the character so distinctly, and Hopkins portrayed him with so much charisma in the films that Mad's portrayal feels a little dull in comparison. Mikkelsen's Lector is very mechanical and cold, whereas Hopkins gave him a "snake-y" charm which made him disarming, and ultimately more sinister.
