MovieChat Forums > Lea Michele Discussion > Apologizes for behavior on set of GLEE

It is strange but she is one of these actresses I could sense she was a b*tch all along.

I'm not about hounding people on the internet in order to abuse them. But I will say that what she stated wasn't a real apology. This quote gives it away:

“But the responses I received to what I posted have made me also focus specifically on how my own behavior towards fellow cast members was perceived by them"

When you don't own up to your shit, fully, and say sorry for what you actually did, and continue to do, then you're not apologizing. She's literally saying "I was wrongly perceived", not, "I fked up back then because I had an ego problem." Just because you don't recall one bad incident doesn't mean you don't know the things you did to people - and she did many things to many people, so there's plenty of memories to draw on.

Also, there's a tonne more people she could've apologized to before this. Many more people have complained about Michele's behaviour way before now, but I have yet to hear an apology to, say, Naya Rivera.

A half-assed apology is stupid. Either double down or make a real apology. It's clear she doesn't believe she's a bitch, only that she's just perceived as one. It's for that she "apologized".

Good post.

Thanks. To me, saying "I'm sorry you perceive me as a bitch" might as well be followed by "but that's your problem." How sincere...ly transparent.

Horrible singer

I didn't recognize her, but then I was never a fan of GLEE either. After looking up her IMDB profile it appears that she hasn't been getting much work lately. I guess this is her way of getting attention by apologizing to a black person? LOL

Maybe she really acted badly but i dont like the climate there is in Hollywood nowadays, with everyone obsessed to be the perfect sjw
