Who else watched the PAX Portal 2 footage and paused instantly as that bot came in the door, to check if this is really Merchants voice?

I haven't seen any footage, but I see his and J.K. Simmons' voices are in it. Those are two awesome voices.

lol, as if "pause to check".

after 5 seasons of podcasts and "extras" you should know the man's voice.

disapointed that he's not in it much (at least up to the point that i have played) so hopefully he's in it more towards the end.

without spoiling much if anything, i'm up to the part where he mentions birds briefly but then is gone again :(

I just started playing it about 5 minutes ago, it gave me goosebumps when I heard his voice.

Stephen did a brilliant job in this game, it's so funny. Gotta wonder how much he enjoyed the humour in the game and his role

Are you crazy??? Firstly, the amount of thought, writing and creativity behind this game is staggering, then there's the god damn guys that do all the scripting. Stephen's voice acting involvement for one character didn't 'MAKE' the game good.

Second, the humour is Valve's work, not his.

In my opinion J.K. Simmons did a far better job as Merchant's stupid voice drives me up the wall.
