His comedy/timing reminds me of Ricky Jervais

Watching his simpsons character Conrad right now, and I thought of Ricky Jervais, and not just because he's British. I looked him up and saw that he works with Ricky, so i wonder who rubbed off on who?

First time I watched Curb Your Enthusiasm I thought "who is this guy taking off Jerry Seinfeld?" before learning who it was and how Jerry said he copied a lot of his acting off of Larry.

These guys both met each other before they'd really written or produced any comedy and their first few projects were all as a double-act; not to mention working with each other on the radio, etc.

I think it's pretty apparent that they both developed their comic timing, style, voice etc as a double-act so it makes sense that they're both very similar in their comic sensibilities.
