Tobias at the London Film Festival for Una Premiere

I am kicking myself, I should have bought the tickets to the event just for Ben Mendelsohn alone and Tobias showed up as well. My favorite actors together and I missed them.

I found the play depressing and generally have to be in the mood for films like this, but I would have loved to be there.

Tobias probably only showed up because he was already in London, since his role in the film is very small by all accounts.
Una is having his Italian premiere at the Rome Film Festival on Tuesday 17th, but it's doubtful I'll be able go there on a working day. Not sure the cast is going and I think it's highly unlikely Tobias will attend that premiere too. He isn't even credited in the cast in the festival program.

It's a dark story and friends who saw it at Telluride were conflicted about the film, although they liked the acting.

The play only had two characters and they expanded it for the screen. Tobias joined the ensemble because he liked the director.

Una is a film I might watch online in the future because I like the leads, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.

The truth? I asked a friend if she wanted to come and see it and when she read the summary she raised eyebrows. I'll wait for the DVD / Bluray and hold out for a play or similar event with Tobias.
As much as I would have loved to see my two favourite actors in the flesh together, I regret missing Letters Live more, even though there was no way to foresee that appearance either, as it was revealed when he stepped onstage.

He didn't participate in New York Comic Con because of previous commitments, but he might be at the Underworld premiere if they have one in London. I think he's doing small projects around London until they start shooting The Terror this winter. Hopefully, he'll have another project in the Spring.

I happen to be in London at Easter next year, so I am praying you are right.
The main problem with one-off events and red carpets appearances is that there is usually very little to no advance notice. I was very lucky with The Dark Lady and The Tender Churl for the Shakespeare 600th anniversary.
