This is very typical of a woman. If a woman doesn't want kids then she'd go for a surgery.

Many women say this in case they don't ever end up having children for whatever reasons, to protect themselves. Just like Cameron Diaz used to always say she didn't care to get married but that was because no man wanted to marry her until benji came along.

Um, or some people like myself, hate children, and the thought of getting knocked up disgusts them. Even seeing other women knocked up disgusts them. It's called tokophobia.

I wouldnt say she lied. She may have felt that way at that time. As life happens, she either changed her mind due to circumstances. Its not uncommon for people to say they dont want kids and then have them. Nor is it not uncommon for them to not have them too. Even people who want them and say theyre going to have them may not have them even if they could. That doesnt make them a liar. Their situation, partners and other issues may affect their decisions at that time. Thats life. Nothing always goes planned or how we think it will go.

Or she really did feel that way but met the man who changed her mind.
