Any films where he's not playing a psycho?

Any? lol

There's plenty but most of them are his early Australian movies like "Cosi" and "The Efficiency Expert", and his Australian TV roles. For a more recent US movie it would be "Mississippi Grind", which is really good. He'll also be playing England's King George VI in the WWII "Darkest Hour" next year with Gary Oldman as Winston Churchill.

Ben has played more than a few bad guys. The most decent character I have seen him play so far was in The Place Beyond the Pines. Nothing psychotic about Robin. He is actually one of the most likable characters in the movie.

I wouldn't say that Danny in Bloodline is evil or psychotic. He does some bad things, but I sympathized with him in many scenes too. He's a fascinating character and it's amazing that I felt so many different emotions towards him throughout the first season.

Thanks for the recommendations! He is a superb actor but I was starting to feel like he was being typecast.

You're welcome, and I agree that Ben is a superb actor. One of the very best right now. He has been typecast sometimes, but there are always a few in between that aren't just villains.

He is so talented, that even when he plays psychotic type characters, he always plays them very well and that's what matters the most to me. Have you seen him in Animal Kingdom? He was fantastic as a creepy sociopath and did wonders with the role. So whether he plays villains, good guys or someone in between, he is always at least great and that's what makes him one of my favorite actors right now.
