Agreed, his eyes are so gorgeous! He distracted me from looking at Johnny Depp every time he was on screen, and I must say, it takes a lot to distract me from Johnny Depp... :P

He does have great eyes. Here are a few photos of Ian featuring his eyes at various stages of his life. He's one of those men who remain gorgeous no matter their age.

I was definately expecting to be scared when he first appeared... but then I got lost in those eyes lol... Davy Jones was scary because he had such a temper and ranted and raged and got violent every time he appeared, but Blackbeard is just like, "ha ha, you idiots screwed up, you're gonna die!" (Mind you, I wouldn't want to get on his bad side, but to me as a viewer, no, he's not scary.)
His eyes seem a bit more gray than blue to me but the lighting in Pirates 4 is kind of weird, they do sometimes appear a bit green too...

Oh, and I so can't believe he's 68! He looks about 55 at the most!
