I always see him as a good guy

The trivia often says he plays villains really well and it's true: I loved him as Blackbeard. A worthy successor to the villains of the previous Pirates films.
But the firs tmovie I saw him in, ever, was Death Race. And now, whenever I see Ian, I always see him as "that good-hearted man in Death Race" and it's hard to imagine him as a villain.
Strange how this works :-)
