Another Smug Hollywood Pundit
I can't really call myself a fan. Most of my viewing of her work has been.in accompanying my wife to her movies. I didn't watch her TV show until its 2nd year and even then only because I like B Gardell and my wife's suggestion that the overall cast on the show was hilarious (which they were) and in giving them more air time there was increasingly less time given to her.
Her 'fat girl does good' act wears thin quickly and is the basic premise in anything that she is in. Her TV show was popular as much due to Mr Gardell and supporting cast as to her minimal talent. Her decision to leave was ill advised as she overestimated her contribution to the show.
Now she has joined the ranks of Hollywood political experts who feel obligated to burden us with their political opinions via her Appearance on SNL as the President's press secretary in a not particularly funny and far too long in repeating the same tired poor attempts at shtick in impersonating this man. It was lame and annoyingly repetitive.
Anytime an entertainer chooses to move into a political screed while I'm watching it will mark my final time watching them in any forum. And by the way, doesn't matter which party they support it is the principle of it and any attempt at imposing their views will be rejected doesn't matter which party they support it is the principle of it and any attempt at imposing their views will be rejected.
Maybe it is just my opinion and course of action, and if so fine. Just had it with the practice. Thank you.
