Best performance?

I've only seen him in Atonement. He was great.

I wouldn't say it was his best performance, but he did a brilliant job taking over the Professor Xavier role in X-Men. It can't be easy replacing Patrick Stewart and I don't think many could have pulled it off as well as he did.

Glass. Or maybe both Split & Glass.

I kinda want to give the edge to Split seeing as how that film completely belonged to him. However, since I felt he went to even more extremes in Glass, my pick is Glass. I always knew he was going to match his performance in Split, but to actually outdo it? Well in Glass he was more impressive in every aspect, as far as I’m concerned.

Overall, what he did as these characters in both films was masterful — unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Incidentally, I’ve been a fan of his for years.
