Is he the most tragic actor ever?

Being traumatized by Brandon Lee's death to were he stops acting for years and had nightmares and people wrongfully calling him a killer(Brandon's Mom did too). Its chilling and sad when was interviewed and said this something you could ever get over.
When MR Masse died all the headlines were taseless being called Brandon's kiler rather than being remembered for his talent. Daniel Kuttner should have been the guy people should have been mad at and only him. I hope MR Masse had some sort of Happiness in his life before he passed.

It wasn't his fault. The production company was rushing and not taking precautions. Horrible accident.
I think Brandon Lee would be a more tragic actor than Massee.

reply

But masse had to live everyday being dubbed a killer when he wasn't plus he quit acting, had nightmares and probably lost some years of his life thats why i think he's more tragic

reply

Masse at least had a life and he wasn't really at fault. Linda Lee never named him in her lawsuit so she knew he wasn't to blame.

Brandon Lee didn't get a chance to live his life. The irony is that The Crow was a great movie and it would've lead to sequels thereby propelling Lee's career to new heights. They had sequels, but none of the actors had Lee's charisma nor his talent for improvisation.

reply

Thats not really a life if you think about it being sad and traumatized everyday and blamed for something. I d say the whole he at least lived his life applies more to Daniel Kuttner since hes still alive and people are more aware of Masse being tied to the tragedy. You can google Kuttner there is less info on him and less page results

I have read Masse was intially sued but was cleared up

Massee found love, married, had two kids and a career. He sounds like he dealt with what happened in a very healthy and mature way. This is the only interview in which he talked about what happened. He spoke with both Brandon's mother and fiancee and appears to have had an amicable relationship with the latter. The lawsuit didn't name him.

Brandon Lee feared he was going to die young. Maybe he had a premonition or it was just his fate. Who knows?

Brad Pitt:
“A real, you know, drunk and stony night, and he proceeded that night to tell me how he thought he was going to die young like his dad. And I just chalked it up to, you know, stony 6 am talk. Then he got The Crow the next year.”

reply

In that interview proves my point he doesn't sound peaceful there. Around that time he said thats not something you get over and he had nightmares. Guilt and depression can eat somebody up over time. I wouldn't be shocked if he thought about suicide or attempted it. He died at 64 which i m sure was 15 years before his time. I think the Lees befriended him after the investigation he was initially investigated

reply

He said he was upset for a while and took time to be with family and friends for a year and moved on. It's not something to forget but he didn't dwell on it 24/7. Why do you want this guy to be miserable?

Who knows? What was his family history? What was he exposed to? Did he drink? smoke? Eat his veggies?

reply

Its noy that i wanted him to be miserable i m sure he was already hiding how he felt which he shouldn't have had to do.

I feel your last comment is sarcasm plesse show a bit of respect

reply

My last comment is reality. Your lifestyle has plenty to do with your health. Food has the ability to protect against diseases, but many Americans eat poorly.

I find it interesting that you think you know how he felt.

reply

The way you said it sounded like sarcasm.

I m going by his own words and even said interview he sounds sad like has guilty even when saying he moved on

reply

Let both men rest in peace.

reply

Thank you both Deserve that i agree

reply

Too bad he let it continue to get to him. The fact that many blamed him should have strengthened his resolve and say FUCK YOU...to everyone blaming him and go live his life and to hell with all those assholes .

reply

He didn't let it get to him. It sounds like he moved on with his life.

reply

I remember when he passed somebody were excited saying he got what he deserved and on old imdb people were blaming saying he should have known not to shoot saying guilty by association

reply

No....there is another.
