I feel stupid for not knowing that she is David Mamet's daughter, but now that I do, it might be hard for me to enjoy watching her objectively. I wonder what he would have to say about Lena's writing. If you do not know who Mamet is then you definitely need to read one of his plays.

So hard to choose. I love The Spanish Prisoner. But I started loving his writing with House of Games. He is a dialog Genius, imho.
My very favorite of his is The Heist. Because of the old use/meanings of words people no longer use, and sayings the characters use...and of course, just the dialog is so rich.
I love that she is his daughter, simply because of the way she talks: Clipped.
