Whatever Happened to Him?

WOW! Just WOW! Haven’t thought about this guy in what seems like an eternity. When I finally did I hit myself in the head & wondered “Man whatever became of this guy?”

Looking at IMDB I was shocked to see that he did stuff until 2001 & then dropped off. That surprised me because I thought he disappeared way sooner than that. If I did come across the stuff he did I probably didn’t recognize him. He seemed like he’d be around for years to come but I guess it wasn’t meant to be.

After all being in “Meatballs, My Bodyguard, The Last Chase & Vamp” wasn’t going to guarantee longevity, but I always thought he’d make it, but again I guess it wasn’t meant to be.

He’s the male equivalent of Deborah Foreman who was also supposed to be a “thing” but then again wasn’t, which is the best comparison I can make regarding Chris Makepeace. Ironic that they both had their 15 minutes around the same time period in the 80’s. Guess it just wasn’t in the cards for either one of them but that’s show business for you.

Interesting to know he was supposed to star in a film based off of the Kiss album “The Elder” but that didn’t pan out. The cd actually has his name on it, I own it. That’s what you get when you try to make a movie based off an album & not the other way around, but wherever this dude is I hope he’s doing ok. He’s a small but fond part of my youth & I still remember him. Cheers Chris!

Actually with all due respect I’ve been posting a lot longer than that on the old IMDB boards. I always thought about responding to this inquiry and finally decided to know. We’re all getting old and life is too short. I was always paranoid about maintaining my privacy for my family. I hope this clears things up.

Wow, are you really him? That's very cool! =-D

I am not the OP, but I remember you as well as the kid actor who carved a niche playing so-called sensitive/vulnerable characters. I only ever saw Meatballs, but I always liked that movie because it's a type of film that you don't see anymore, one that's based around heartfelt interactions and life experiences (like coming of age).
