I haven't seen many of his films.

1. Follow Me, Boys! - reminded me in a way of It's a Wonderful Life because it shows what a difference one man can make in a community, MacMurray was perfect in the lead role
2. Double Indemnity - a vastly different sleazy role here but no less compelling or interesting
3. The Apartment - another sleazy guy, he is known for being the ultimate nice guy (My Three Sons)for the most part but he could easily slip into the role of some nasty guys

The Caine Mutiny - not a great film but has some great moments, MacMurray is convincing as manipulator Keefer
Murder, She Says - a silly and often hilarious comedy, this is MacMurray at his slapstick best, not a deep movie at all but has scenes of comic gold
