Should be a bigger star

I don't really understand why Josh Lucas never became a big movie star/big TV star - he is an attractive guy, full of charisma and most of all he can actually act but for whatever reason he just never made it in the way some his peers did. Maybe it was a combination of Stealth and Poseidon that killed off his movie career but some of his independent films show has good he actually is.
I am really sad they cancelled mysteries of laura as he was excellent in that and had great chemistry with Deborah Messing - I hope he gets a lead in a good show as I think he could be great with the right vehicle.

i agree. maybe he'll land some good supporting roles in the future. he did have them in the past

He is a super nice guy also. Well liked, however the elephant in the room is his hair, lack thereof or hair piece. I know first hand that he has been deemed unfit for a part due to hos current state of follicle power. Hollywood is a cruel place

Did a hairpiece hurt Billy Bob Thornton or Ted Danson? Granted, it's VERY noticeable in movies like Stealth and Sweet Home Alabama. I guess he probably lost out parts given to Matt MacCuntihay? I think he's just too Red Necky and cute looking but he wanted meatier roles but just didn't fit the bill.

He was the IT kid for several years during the early to mid 2000. Unfortunately he did not bring the films he headlined into profit and was soon deemed un-bankable. Josh had signed on to do Poseidon before Stealth was released, both film huge financial failures. He was persona non grata at both SONY & WB and could not land a new film for years.

Seems to be a pretty one note actor. He's good at what he does, but similar roles most of the time.
