Pleads “ not guilty” today

Laughlin is really counting on a T-rump pardon, I guess. She pleaded “ not guilty” to all charges, along with her husband.

Who’s advising her? Giuliani?

reply

She is so screwed, the DA will eat her alive, no way Trump will pardon her because he will lose his blue collar base.

reply

I voted and I'm white collar, except when I wear blue shirts (if I dress as a cop for a party, the law willing, I'd be blue collar...attempted humor there)

reply

most of his base are blue collar

reply

She's delusional; she is going to jail and staying. The Feds don't like the non-guilty plea.

reply

well her prison will be nice like Martha Stewart's

reply

I've got a feeling she won't do prison time, she's got enough money to buy her way out of it.

reply

prison or no prison her career is done

reply

Her older movies were better.

reply

Lmao...what career?

reply

She actually was working regularly up until this. She was very popular on the Hallmark network but they dropped her. The stuff she was in may not be your cup of tea but her career was actually doing quite well until now.

reply

Meh....she's rich. I'm sure she can retire very comfortably....

reply

I would think so...she probably should've taken the plea bargain though. The sooner she puts this behind her the better and considering this isn't a violent or salacious crime, I actually think she could recover at least some of her career and get back to work. Guess we'll see.

reply

When are they finally going to go to trial and be sentenced? I heard this could take another year to happen.

reply

I heard in the Fall. Not sure thought.

reply

If only she had black privilege like that hate crime faker who tried to start a race war then maybe the prosecutor would just have dropped all the charges...

reply

If only....

reply

Well at least she still has a beautiful family. I wish her well

reply

You wish her well because you believe she has a beautiful (white) family ?

reply

Hahahahahaaaaaaqaa why are u such a racist?? There are beautiful fams everywhere why bring race into it???

reply

Because you started with “ if only she had Black privilege” in your post above, lest you forget. Race is obvious important to you when judging people.

reply

Black privilege helped out that gay dude who faked his own hate crime. It is the 21st century not a bad time to be black. Honestly i think this whole fiasco is because Lori pissed off someone in the Hollywood elite and this is payback. I am sure many more people did the same thing and never got charged because they have connections

reply

no , a bunch of people got charged, she just has the most annoying daughter so the press hounded her. The hedge fund manager outed the rick singer guy for a plea deal.

reply

So at least she is better than the hedge fund manager who snitched on that guy. Nothing lower than a snitch in this world...

It's celebrity privilege, not black privilege.

Felicity Huffman for her role in this college scandal will get about 4 months jail time (at least that's what the feds are seeking).

Tanya McDowell (a black woman) got 12 years for sending her son to the wrong school district.

Kelley Williams-Bolar (a black woman) got 3 years and a $30K fine for sending her daughter to the wrong school district.

Celebrities in general get treated differently than the rest of us. But for run of the mill folks the sentencing for black people is predominantly harsher than it is for white counterparts.

reply

Tanya and Kelley are looking for that “ black privilege “ that only Nirvana can see. ( It’s called delusion).

reply

Times are changing. If the blacks run the court like in Chicago and my city of Cleveland then you get off much easier being a person of color then if you are white. I was in court last year I saw the judge handing out very small penalties to minorities especially when they say they are on welfare and don't work. Thats one of the reasons I decided not to buy property in Cleveland and instead got my house in the suburbs outside of that cities jurisdiction. Being a landlord in a city like that is nothing but a headache. That's why u can buy a house in some areas for the price of a vcr nobody wants the headaches that are attached to those properties

reply

Sounds like an interesting day in court for you but anecdotal stories aren't actual data so I don't put much stock in them (no offense).

reply

Okay here is the story. Some 350 pound women has a special parking permit for handicaps because she got so big on the taxpayers dime she can't walk good anymore and needs to park close. No problem if she uses it but what she did was send in her 250 pound daughter into the store to get some stuff and the mom waited in the car taking up a handicapped space while never actually exiting her vehicle. Some cop gave her a ticket. The judge asked what she does for work and she said welfare. He lowered her ticket from 200$ to only 50 bucks?!!? If i took up a handicap space i would be looking at like a 500 dollar fine or something. Thats black privilege for ya

reply

Without knowing the specifics of the case it's hard to really judge but nothing you say has demonstrated that the sole reason the judge showed mercy on her was the color of her skin.

Don't really want to go in circles with you on this but personal anecdotes like this aren't evidence. It's nothing personal.

reply

Far enough. It was just an observation but maybe really not that big of a deal. But I hear the city is really rough on landlords now. Not good to invest in land out there. If the city cuts ur grass for you they will send 5 works out for half a day to ur 250 dollar property and give you a bill of 500 dollars for grass cut

reply

Some days I'm for sure glad not to be a home owner!

reply

america is racist, we know

It’s time they locked her up for a few years.

reply

What is that gonna accomplish?
