Beautiful Woman

And so are her daughters.

Hollywood should give them more work instead of hiring ugly people.

reply

But they're criminals, so no.

reply

Nobody died.

reply

But, people were cheated.

reply

Beautiful people are a dime a dozen in Hollywood. It's just as easy to find non-criminals to cast in films. Personally I hope Lori Loughlin gets to work on TV again in some capacity, I think she's talented and likable. But clearly she needs to get her legal situation squared away first.

The suggestion that her daughters (who have never demonstrated any actual acting ability) should be given work in Hollywood simply because they are beautiful is of course absurd.

And yet they still keep trying to push Amy Schumer on us...

...uh-oh...

Anyway, as a general point, it seems modern stars are much less attractive and glamourous than they were in previous decades. Is it because younger Millennials and Generation Z hate sex?

Amy Schumer is pushed because she reaches an audience of woman who can relate to both her humor and looks-related issues with her appearance. You honestly don't see why there's a call for women who speak to that portion of the audience?

As for a prevalence of less attractive modern stars being evidence toward younger generations hating sex....wow man, this is just laughable. First, there are still plenty of beautiful people working in television and film and to suggest otherwise is just plain false. Second, did it ever occur to you that perhaps younger generations may get any needs they have to seeing sex on film depicted elsewhere? Like say the millions of free videos available on porn websites? You do realize older generations didn't have the availability to such things that today's young generations take for granted? Maybe with outlets like that, there isn't as much need to make the overwhelming majority of characters drop dead gorgeous and more average looking, yet talented actors benefit.

reply

Not everyone likes porn, and I suspect that the younger generations are even more anti-porn than I am.

Some of us like to see a beautiful woman without needing to see her every private part shoved in our face.

Some of us still appreciate the true beauty and elegance of women like Grace Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor and Ginger Rogers. Heck, even Marilyn Monroe counts when she wasn't, sadly, prostituting herself by doing Playboy.

Sadly, instead of those graceful, elegant, glamorous women, who do we have today? Amy frickin' obnoxious loudmouth Schumer with her looks-based insecurities. Here's a tip Amy, put that double cheeseburger down, get down to the gym, do a few circuits, and maybe you won't have so many issues.

And like I said there are plenty of women who meet your qualifications actively working. Focus on them and ignore Amy Shumer who you find so disgusting and follow Olivia Jade on instagram. Honestly no idea what you're complaining about..

reply

I'm not that fussed about Olivia Jade to be honest.

I'm just saying that I hope she comes out of this okay.

People are making too big a fuss out of this college admissions scandal. Jail-time for embellishing your daughter's college application? WTF?!?

As if JFK, Trump, Dubya and a few others didn't cheat or get a helping hand from their old men in order to get into top colleges...

Please...what a bunch of sanctimonious hypocrites we all are.

Anyone who worked their way to where they are, without cheating or nepotism, as I did, should be content and happy with themselves, without having to sneer and make a big deal out of those who did. It just comes across as insecure and petty to complain.

reply

So I would assume that you think that it's ridiculous for those educators in Atlanta to receive time as prison as well?

reply

tru that. this dumb pc culture is crazy. who cares if some rich person bribes there kiddos into school. not many people have the money to do that. much more kids dont get into school because the spots are taken by affirmative action handouts than because of stuff like this...
