Best Blake Lively's Performance

Notice, "best performances" not "best movies"; and, in this order:

1. The Age of Adeline
2. Savages
3. The Town
4. Hick
5. The Private Life of Pippa Lee
6. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (1& 2)
7. Green Lantern

Have not seen "Gossip Girl", "Elvis and Annabelle", "The Shallows", and "All I See Is You", but heard good comments on her acting skills in these too.

She is not just another pretty face in Hollywood, but rather she can act and does a convincing job on the characters she portrayed . Hope she will get more quality parts like the ones that offered to Nicole Kidman, Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron, Julia Roberts, Emma Stone, Kate Winslet...

You NEED to see Elvis and Annabelle. Great film.

Yes, definitely! Have heard good reviews about this one. Will watch at first opportunity.

I think her best role - and frankly the only role where she didn't sound like she had a mouth full of marbles - was The Shallows. Maybe because there was limited dialogue the whole film worked. I thought she was decent in The Town and Savages (but completely out acted by Salma Hayek). The only other film where I really enjoyed her was the first Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants - and especially with her old nose!

While I think she has improved a lot in the last few years acting-wise, I can't say that she's even remotely in the same acting league as Kidman, Stone, Winslet, etc. They tend to make each role distinctively their own and the same cannot be said of Lively. I can think of 5 other actresses that would be more suited for almost every single one of her roles, with MAYBE the exception of Gossip Girl since she does very much look the part (but the acting is awful across the board with the exception of Leighton Meester).

Wish I can be one of those marbles in her mouth... For the rest, you're entitled to your opinions, however, I beg to differ.

The Shallows is her best work
