RIP

David Lindley wasn't really a well-known name to the general public, but chances are that you've heard his playing at some point. What a guitar player this guy was. He's probably best known for his tremendous slide-guitar playing on the Jackson Browne classic "Running On Empty," but he put together quite the resume over the years. He passed away today...RIP.

RIP.

Truly one of the best slide players ever๐Ÿ˜Ž

He's doing "another bad one" in Heaven with Warren, who "likes it when the blood drains from David's face"

That was great! Yes, he really was an incredible slide player...it just poured out of him so effortlessly, it seemed.

That is one thing I am admittedly terrible at...slide guitar. I'm a horrible slide player...there is an art to it and I stink at it! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ I really admire the guitarists who can play slide guitar so well.
