Andy's accents

I know a lot of U.S fans are surprised at Andy's accent as Rick Grimes, and to me and other Brits as well, I think it sounds like a good (believable) one.

Id like to ask though did anybody see him in an episode of the British newsroom sitcom Drop the dead donkey, from back in the mid 90s when he played an Australian character!!
