No I'm gonna tell you what's most obvious to others and thats is that it is Just a big coincidence , eugene wasn't in a cinderella story and jenifer wasn't in cheaper by the dozen 2 so plus jenifer and eugene were never in a csene of any american pie movie together , hope that's cleared that up for you dear

I reckon that they are just old friends with each other and Christopher Guest (director of Best In Show, A Mighty Wind, etc).

It's like John Cusack and Tim Robbins. They were old buddies in the Chicago theatre scene, so they sometimes appear in the other's movie for fun. One such example is "High Fidelity". Robbins cameod in the movie as a favour to Cusack. Plus it was a fun role.
