Should have been nominated for a supporting role in silence of the lambs

I think he did a great job.I mean just for a supporting role at least.Does anyone agree?

reply

I agree. He played his role perfectly. He was sublimely creepy without overdoing it.

reply

I agree as well, he was completely underrated.

Very difficult role to play and he played it extremely well...

Everybody is smart, even the dumb ones. They're just too dumb to realise it.

i saw this for the first time today and that's exactly what i was thinking

"YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT PAIN IS!"

or "*beep* me so hard" when he was crossdressing

he was amazing.

Amazing amazing amazing. I'm stunned The Academy skipped him. Not alone did he deserve a nomination, he deserved to win. His performance was so believable.

reply

Agreed on all points - I recently re-watched Silence of the Lambs and still am impressed by the power of his performance.
