If he is Spider-Man then....

I lobbied for him back when he was rumored for TASM. He'll be the youngest actor to ever portray him on screen.

Good, he'll finally look like a teenager.

Tobey Maguire was a great Peter Parker, but a humorless Spider-Man. Andrew Garfield is a better wisecracking Spider-Man, but an unlikable, hipster-ish/skater/cool Peter Parker.

I think Logan Lerman is the perfect balance of both worlds, a likable, nerdy Peter Parker, but wisecracking and full of humor as Spider-Man. He would be perfect.

I love Spidey, but I think in general he needs a massive makeover. The problem I believe whether you like the Garfield/Webb reboot or not, is that they rebooted too fast, after just one messy film. Also I think that when a film is made a studio and the creative team should work together, but in this case, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad, and Sony had wayyyy too much input and control.

Integrating Spider-Man will bring a breath of fresh air to many, and I think his box office numbers will do much better. You can call the $700 million that TASM 2 made a success, but the hard truth is, it wasn't enough, we live in a world that $700 million world wide and $200 million in the US box office is a disappointment. Also the negative feedback didn't help as well.

With Marvel contracts, especially the big three, Downey, Evans, and Hemsworth coming to a close, it makes sense that Spider-Man will be the face of Marvel Studios in Phase 4 and so on, should Downey, Evans, and Hemsworth not return for more.

Same here, i wanted him to Logan do a take on spider-man since 2011. This guy would be great. I would rather see a SM film with flashbacks of of him in high school than just the whole movie in HS. I felt like the first did a good job, of a simple origin and flash forwarding to him in later years.

Showing off is the fools idea of glory

I don't think he's good at wisecracking. The two recent films he's had where he's done wisecracking, Percy Jackson and Three Musketeers, he's come off forced.

Logan's great in wisecracking when he's younger. He looks too serious now, though he might surprise us if he gets the role which is a long shot.

He would be a great Spider-man if he's going to portray Civil War Spider-man, not the teenage wise-cracking one but the more mature Spider-man we get to see in the Civil War comics

I like spoilers 😀😂

But won't that wisecracking element have to be there for the solo Spider-Man film? Because we'd be in for a pretty bleak Spider-Man film if it isn't.

He still wouldn't BE a teenager. He's still be like a 24 year old guy around the time of Captain American's next film. So his onscreen debut would only be like a couple years younger then Tobey and Andrew's onscreen debut.

I really hope he is the next actor to portray Spider-Man. He is an excellent actor, and will most certainly produce the best Spider-Man to date on film. This week is big for all those actors involved, so my thoughts are with him on getting this big role.

He's never played him so how would you know?
